It’s really about time to post a video, don’t you think? So, I decided to do a new video for you. In this one, I’m talking about my camera bag, since a lot of you asked where I got it from, after watching my promotion video. I’m not only revealing this little secret but I’m giving you a little insight on what camera equipment I use during a portrait shoot (boudoir, woman’s portrait, couple, family…). I don’t mind sharing with all of you. I think, camera gear is only a tool to bring my vision come to life & maybe this little video helps you & your creative vision. Enjoy!
My four tips for you:
1 Find a camera bag designer on etsy.com or dawanda.com (for the European photographers). Often, they can personalize your bag according to your wishes & you can be sure, no one else has the same camera bag :)
2 Less is more. Own a few lenses & really learn how to work with them. Don’t overbuy on gear, especially when you are just starting out!
3 The Canon 50mm 1.4 & 35mm 2.0 are great lenses for a small budget. And yes, I even love to do portraits with the 35mm! It has a wonderful lifestyle feel, that I like.
4 My favorite combo for shooting portraits as of right now: Canon 5dmkII + 85mm 1.2/ 50mm 1.4
I hope you enjoyed this little video & I can’t wait to see you next time.
